OS/2 2.0 (buy it)

IBM OS/2 2.0
© 1992. System requirements: 386SX or higher processor, 4MB of RAM, 1.44MB floppy drive, mouse, and hard disk with 15-30MB of free space.

Retail box bottom bar code P84F7586

OS/2 2.1 (Not the "for Windows" version, but a standalone) Available on 25 3.5" floppies, or 32 5.25" floppies, or on CD.

OS/2 2.1 for Windows

OS/2 2.11: Last revision before Warp. Available on 21 3.5" floppies or 25 5.25" floppies (fewer disks than 2.1 because of an improved diskette
compression method, as per the documentation) or on CD.

OS/2 2.11 Symmetric Multiprocessing Edition (SMP). Variant of 2.11 that supports multiple processors. I have it on good authority (an IBM programmer) that this was used for servers, and on an IBM PS/2 9595 OPT, the only way to crash this OS was to pull the plug. Came in 3.5" floppy and CD. Licenses: There was a 1-2 CPU version and a 1-7 CPU version (Why seven, I'll never know. The IBM programmer assured me it ran fine with eight CPU's). I have seen the 1-7 CPU version on CD.
