Borland C++ for OS/2 runs under OS/2 host systems and creates 32-bit applications for OS/2 v2.1 and higher. BC++ OS/2 is an ANSI C and AT&T compliant optimizing compiler. With integrated GUI debugging, developers can debug applications under Presentation Manager without leaving the development environment. BC++ productivity enhancing, graphical IDE (Integrated Development Environment) runs as a Presentation Manager Application, enabling developers to edit, debug, and the run the application all from within Presentation Manager. Also includes Resource Workshop - resource editor which provides everything you need to create dazzling OS/2 resources. New for 2.0 is ObjectWindows Library for Presentation Manager. It is compatible with OWL for Windows, can share common source code between Windows and OS/2. Designed with the latest C++ language standards, such as templates, exception handling, Runtime type information (RTTI), and powerful ANSI string classes. Can take full advantage of OS/2's preemptive multi-threaded, multi-tasking environment. For example, compile an application in the background while editing a file in the foreground. (See also Borland C++ in the MS Windows section).

Turbo Vision

Turbo Vision for C++ - Application Framework for DOS-based applications. Used to create user interfaces with windows, dialog boxes, menus, and mouse support. The manual I've seen is 534 pages, © 1991, PART # 14MN-TVC01 BOR 2413. This product is included with BC++ and App. Frameworks 3.1.

This is from the http://www.faqs.org/faqs/C++-faq/turbovision/tvplus/part1/ FAQ. There were three versions of Turbo Vision:

TV1.0 This version of the application frameworks came with BC++ 3.0;

TV1.03 This version cam with BC++ 3.1: . its TV.H containing a #define _TV_VERSION which is not present in the earlier version; and

TV2.0 This is part of the Power Pack for DOS designed for use with BC 4.x:. It may be used with the 16 and 32 bit DOS DPMI extenders; . it includes TInputLine validators such as TFilterValidator, TRangeValidator, TStringLookupValidator and TPXPictureValidator; . there is a new TMultiCheckBoxes object that is like the regular TCheckBoxes object but each check box can have multiple values; and a new TOutline class has been added for outline views (for example a directory tree) with expandable and collapsible nodes.
